Who We Are
The mission of the Royal Oak Optimist Club is to bring out the best in kids by providing hope and a positive vision. We serve Royal Oak and surrounding communities, and have played a role as a leading service club in the community for close to 75 years! In addition to our own programs, we are a proud founder and supporter of the area Boys & Girls Clubs, programs in the Royal Oak Schools, and many other local groups that benefit or serve kids. Please visit our main web site at: royaloakoptimists.org/ for more information about our Club!
This year we have developed a new partnership with Teen Clean Closet! That organization helps young people in the Royal Oak area by providing products needed for everyday cleanliness (through "closets" stocked at local schools and the local Boys & Girls Club). Trivia Night
Trivia Night is one of the Club's biggest fundraisers- and this year the Optimists are helping out Teen Clean Closet at the event. Please bring toiletry and hygiene items to donate to Teen Clean Closet at the door.
Trivia Night is on Saturday, November 3, 2018. For $30 per person (or $240 per table of eight), we provide dinner (meatless options available), non-alcoholic beverages (a cash bar is available), dessert - and of course ten rounds of Team Trivia! You will have an opportunity to purchase answers throughout the night to boost your score, and the top three teams win cash prizes! Please hit the "TICKETS" tab above for info on how to buy tickets for the event! Advance sales by October 27, please! |
